The West Midlands has long been recognised as a powerhouse of UK manufacturing. With a rich industrial heritage and a modern reputation for innovation, the region is home to world-leading businesses in automotive, aerospace, advanced engineering, and cutting-edge technologies.

However, this won't always be the case if we can't secure the next generation of engineers and manufacturers. With a widening skills gap and manufacturers struggling to access and retain new talent, it's never been more important to show young people the exciting and rewarding career paths that manufacturing in the West Midlands can offer.

That's where YOU come in

West Midlands Manufacturing Festival is more than an event - it's a mission.
A mission to inspire the next generation, and open doors to careers students may never have considered.

It's a phrase we hear time and time again when talking about young people and their future careers. In manufacturing and engineering - an industry filled with innovation, opportunity and growth - too many students simply don't know what's out there.

No wonder we have a skills shortage!
